On behalf of the Board of Governors of the Touchdown Club of Annapolis
it is my pleasure to invite you to attend to the annual cocktail reception held
each year prior to the Army–Navy football game. This year’s reception will be
held Wednesday December 7, 2011 on the Superintendant’s Flag Bridge
at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. We
hope you will join us as we offer our support and encouragement to head
coach Ken Niumatalolo as the Midshipmen prepare to take on the Cadets of
The cocktail reception is open to all Touchdown Club members in good
standing. Members will be asked to pay their annual $35 dues at the door that
evening. Last year’s cocktail reception was another rousing success at the
spectacular venue overlooking the field at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial
Stadium. Coach Niumatalolo and Navy athletic director Chet Gladchuk will
be on hand that night to discuss the upcoming Army-Navy game.
On behalf of the Board of Governors and members of the Touchdown Club
of Annapolis, I want to thank each of you for your participation in the Club’s
events and for your continued support. The support of local community and
business leaders like you is the lifeblood of our organization and is absolutely
crucial to the club’s mission of helping youth sports programs throughout
Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. Together, we can and do make a
difference in the lives of children.
I look forward to joining each of you and our special guests from the
United States Naval Academy at the cocktail reception on December 7th.
